Academic Decathalon

Saturday our Academic Decathlon team attended the LAUSD awards ceremony culminating a very tumultuous competition that was held just after the teachers’ strike.  Our students put forth their best performance to date winning 25 medals, coming in third in our division and 15th overall out of 55 schools. This is a win not only for our Decathletes, but for all of our teachers as Academic Decathlon covers all subjects under one unifying theme.  This year’s theme was “America in the 1960’s”.
