Calling all poets and spoken word fans or anyone who has something to say. BSU is proud to present Poetry Slam this Friday, December 1 from 4 to 6 pm in Glenn Hall. Come by and recite an original or published poem or spoken word or listen to your fellow students drop some fresh word bombs! Concessions will be sold.

The application window for eChoices is opening on October 2, 2017 and closing November 9, 2017 for the 2018-2019 school year. Please click here to be taken to the eChoices website and fill out an application.
As college application due dates are approaching, are you ready to find the right college for you? The College Fair Extraordinaire will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9am to 12pm. Los Angeles Pierce College will be visited by 100 different college and university representatives from all over the country. Workshops will begin at 9:30am involving topics such as the UC application, CSU application, financial aid, and several more. After a long day of exploring various colleges and universities, enjoy a free lunch provided by the college fair. For more information about this event contact our college counselors Mrs. Haskins and Mrs. Morris in the college office.
On August 31, SOCES Girls Volleyball will be returning to the court to play their season’s first game against Reseda High School, and it’s bound to be an entertaining experience. The JV/Varsity game starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:45 so be there and cheer on your fellow Knights who put their dedication and hard work into every game to make SOCES proud. Girls are coming off one of their best seasons and are looking to win another league championship. They have won six titles in the past nine years.
